Evidence Log
What evidence do you have that things are moving in the right direction?
When you're working toward something you really want, there can be a strange period in the middle when your vision says one thing and your current circumstances seem to be saying something completely different.
And that's often when fear gets loud.
The Evidence Log is a simple tool I use to make sure I'm not only collecting evidence for what I'm afraid of. It helps you notice the little signs, opportunities, changes, coincidences and unexpected developments that might suggest something is actually moving.

Start Collecting Different Evidence
An Evidence Log isn't about pretending everything is wonderful or ignoring what's actually happening.
It's about making sure you're noticing all of what's happening.
Maybe an opportunity appears that wasn't there before. Someone says exactly the thing you needed to hear. You get an unexpected idea. Something you've been struggling with becomes easier. You notice yourself thinking or responding differently. Or you get one of those little dings that tells you to make a call, send an email, look something up or go somewhere.
It doesn't have to be the manifestation. It only has to be evidence that something is moving.
How to Use Your Evidence Log
Whenever something happens that feels relevant to what you're creating, write it down. Don't worry about whether it's important enough. Small things count.
Keep adding to your log instead of relying on yourself to remember everything.
Then periodically look back over what you've collected and ask:
What does the evidence say?
What story could you tell about where things are going if you looked at this evidence instead of only the evidence your fear has been collecting?
From Chats with Witchy
I created the Evidence Log from something I actually did while I was trying to manifest a completely different life during a time when much of the evidence around me seemed to say it wasn't going to happen.
You'll hear more about that in Chats with Witchy: The Show, where I talk about what I actually did when my vision and my circumstances appeared to be telling two very different stories.
