The Perfect Day
A 31-Day Manifestation & Alignment Journal
What would an ordinary day look like if you were already living the life you’re trying to create?
Not the day you finally get the thing.
Not the day the money arrives, you move into the house, meet the person, launch the business, or get on the plane.
Just a normal day after all of that has already happened.
Where would you wake up? What would you do? Who would be there? What would your work look like? How would you spend your time? What would you think about? What would you no longer worry about?
And most importantly, how would it feel to be you in that life?
That’s what the Perfect Day exercise is designed to help you explore.

What Is Perfect Day Journaling?
Perfect Day journaling is a visualization exercise in written form, but there’s an important twist.
You aren't writing about the life you hope to have someday.
Instead, you imagine that you are already living it.
At the end of your imagined day, you sit down with your journal and reflect back on everything that happened, just as you might write about a day you actually experienced.
You begin in the morning and move through the entire day.
What happened when you woke up? What could you see around you? What did you hear? What did you eat? What did you wear? Where did you go? What did you do? Who did you talk to?
You bring in your senses and, especially, your feelings.
Then you write it all down as though you're remembering something that has already happened.
Why Do This for 31 Days?
One Perfect Day can tell you a lot.
Thirty- one of them can tell you even more.
For 31 days, you're repeatedly directing your attention toward the life you want to create and giving your imagination detailed experiences of what that life could actually look and feel like.
Instead of repeatedly rehearsing what you're worried might happen, you're deliberately spending time rehearsing another possibility.
And repetition matters when we're working with the subconscious mind.
The thoughts, images, emotions and ideas we repeatedly return to can become increasingly familiar. Over the month, you may also begin noticing patterns in what you write.
Maybe you thought you wanted money, but what keeps appearing in your Perfect Days is freedom.
Maybe you thought you wanted a particular house, but what you're really writing about is peace, privacy and security.
Maybe you thought you wanted success, but what keeps showing up is choice.
That's part of the value of this exercise.
You're not only imagining what you want.
You're discovering why you want it and what you actually want your life to feel like.
Make It Feel Real
The more detail you bring to the exercise, the easier it is to step into the experience in your imagination.
Use all of your senses.
What does your bedroom look like when you open your eyes?
What can you hear outside?
What does your coffee taste like?
How does the floor feel beneath your feet?
What's happening around you?
What are you looking forward to?
How does it feel to check your bank account? To do your work? To spend time with the people you love? To make decisions from a place of freedom rather than fear?
You don't have to make every day spectacular.
In fact, ordinary can be incredibly powerful.
You're imagining what it feels like when the thing you currently want so badly has simply become part of your life.
Don't Worry About the How
This isn't an exercise in figuring out exactly how everything is going to happen.
You don't need to explain how you got the house.
You don't need to know where the money came from.
You don't need to work out every step between the life you're living today and the one you're writing about.
For this exercise, your job is simply to explore:
If I were already there, what would my life be like?
Let yourself experience that life for a little while.
Then tomorrow, come back and experience another day.
Your 31-Day Perfect Day Journal
I created this fillable virtual journal so you can make the Perfect Day exercise a daily practice for an entire month.
Inside you'll find instructions for doing the exercise, 31 dated journal entries you can fill in directly on your computer or device, manifestation quotes throughout the journal, and a final reflection to help you notice what you discovered along the way.
You can also return to the journal later and see whether any of the things you once imagined have begun finding their way into your actual life.
From Chats with Witchy
I created the Perfect Day Journal from something I actually did while I was trying to manifest a completely different life during a time when much of the evidence around me seemed to say it wasn't going to happen.
You'll hear more about that in Chats with Witchy: The Show, where I talk about what I actually did when my vision and my circumstances appeared to be telling two very different stories.
