Books & Writing

Stories, ideas, and the subconscious threads beneath them

I have always been interested in why people become who they become.

That curiosity has shaped my work as a hypnotherapist, educator, writer, and artist.

Whether I am writing about manifestation, identity, intuition, creativity, relationships, or starting over, I am usually circling the same question:

What has been shaping us beneath the surface, and what becomes possible when we finally notice it?

My writing blends personal stories with what I have learned from more than 25 years of working with the subconscious mind.

Some pieces are practical.

Some are reflective.

Some are funny.

Most begin with something ordinary and end up somewhere I did not expect.

You can explore my books, memoir, Substack, and blog below.

Chats with Witchy

A memoir about reinvention, identity, and starting over

Chats with Witchy is the book I am currently writing about leaving Canada, moving to Mexico with my husband and our two cats, and discovering that changing countries was the easy part.

The real change was internal.

What began as a move quickly became an excavation.

Old roles fell away.

Plans changed.

Money disappeared.

Certainty became scarce.

I had to look closely at the beliefs, fears, and identities I had carried for years and ask which ones still belonged to me.

The book explores:

  • reinvention and identity

  • childhood conditioning

  • creativity and self-expression

  • marriage during uncertainty

  • intuition and the subconscious mind

  • manifestation beyond positive thinking

  • learning to trust yourself

  • becoming more fully who you have always been

It is personal, honest, sometimes messy, and often funny because life has a way of handing us a spiritual lesson while one of the cats is vomiting on the hotel floor.

Several chapters are available to read now.

My Substack

Writing from behind the book

My Substack is where I share chapters from Chats with Witchy, stories behind the manuscript, reflections on writing, and ideas that grow out of the book.

I write about identity, creativity, reinvention, intuition, relationships, the subconscious mind, moving to Mexico, and the strange little moments that change us more than the dramatic ones.

Some posts are part of the memoir. Others are conversations about the themes underneath it.

It is the closest thing to sitting down with me over tea while I tell you what I am writing, what I am noticing, and what life has been teaching me lately.

The Quantum Alignment Protocol

A practical process for becoming a match for what you want

The Quantum Alignment Protocol explains the six-step manifestation process I developed after years of studying the subconscious mind, emotional association, belief formation, and the way people respond to what they want.

Manifestation is often taught as visualization, affirmations, and positive thinking. Those things can be useful, but they rarely reach the deeper beliefs and emotional patterns that shape what a person feels safe expecting, receiving, or keeping.

The Quantum Alignment Protocol helps you identify where your conscious goals and subconscious expectations are not aligned, then begin changing the patterns that keep sending mixed signals.

The book is for people who want a grounded way to understand manifestation without pretending fear, doubt, or old conditioning can be erased by repeating nicer sentences.

The Blog

Practical writing about hypnotherapy and the subconscious mind

My blog is where I explain how the subconscious mind works in everyday life.

I write about anxiety, sleep, overthinking, habits, emotional patterns, protection, vigilance, belief formation, and why people can understand a problem logically while still feeling unable to change it.

The goal is not to label people. It is to help them understand why their responses make sense in context.

Once you understand what the subconscious learned, it becomes much easier to see what needs to be updated.

One curiosity, many forms

My books and articles may look different on the surface, but they all come from the same fascination.

How do our experiences shape us?

How does the subconscious influence what we think, feel, create, choose, and expect?

And what happens when we begin uncovering the person beneath all the conditioning?

That is the thread running through everything I write.
