Hypnotherapy Terms & Conditions
Please review the following policies before your session.
Payment & Cancellations:
• 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session (except in emergencies). Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a fee equal to half the session cost.
• If I need to reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice (except in emergencies), your next session will be complimentary.
• Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice forfeit the appointment and owe half the session fee.
• Payment is accepted via Stripe, PayPal, or e-transfer to info@yourauthenticself.ca. GST is applied to all sessions.
• Refunds (if applicable) may take up to 60 days to process.
About Hypnotherapy:
• Not every session includes hypnosis; time may be spent discussing important developments.
• Hypnosis sessions generally run 40–50 minutes.
• The number of sessions needed varies by person and goal.
• Results may take a few sessions to appear.
• For best results, clients should be open to exploring what emerges in session.
• Follow-up sessions may be recommended.
• Hypnotherapy is not a replacement for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. I do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions.
• You may stop hypnotherapy at any time. I reserve the right to end services if goals are met, payment is not maintained, or at my discretion.
Confidentiality:
All communication is confidential unless you grant written permission for your case to be referenced anonymously for educational purposes.
Exceptions where I am legally required to break confidentiality include:
• Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult.
• A credible threat of serious harm to yourself, another person, or property.
• Disclosure of viewing, possessing, or distributing child pornography in any form.
